Season 2 - Episode 2

Hello friends! Welcome to the 2nd episode of the 2nd season of this podcast. How exciting! Today I have interviewed the amazing Professor Pernilla. Pernilla is a professor at the biology and biological engineering department at Chalmers University of Technology, in Sweden. Her research is about proteins, particularly, she studies how they function correctly and why things might go wrong. She spent 12 years in academia in the USA, as a member of the faculty at different American universities. She then returned to Sweden in 2008.

She is a member of Swedish academy and the Nobel prize committee for chemistry. Pernilla also started "Genie" in 2019, a platform for gender initiative. She is also the mother of two beautiful girls. HOW AMAZING!!
